About Dr Bee...
Bee Epstein-Shepherd, PHD
"Helping people make things better" has been
Dr. Bee Epstein-Shepherd's mission throughout her careers.
After earning a Master's Degree in Psychology, she began
teaching Business Psychology at the college level. Her emphasis
was reducing stress and making the work-place a positive
environment .
In 1977 a respected physician suggested that cancer is related to
stress. Bee Epstein-Shepherd then began the research that resulted
in the audio program 5 Days to Less Stress, published in 1983 and
How to Create Balance at Home, at Work, In Your Life in 1988.
Between 1984 and 1995, Dr. Bee conducted public seminars on these
topics, speaking to more than 250,000 people in over 450 cities
internationally. She also consulted in these areas with such clients
as Hewlett Packard, Apple Computer, Intel, American Automobile
Association, Toyota Motors, Macys, Procter and Gamble, and many
municipalities and government agencies throughout the U.S.
In addition she was on the adjunct faculty of a number of colleges
and universities including the University of Alaska, the University
of California, Clemson; developing training programs and conducting
seminars at the University of California Medical Center, the Defense
Language institute and Naval Postgraduate School.
In 1992, Dr. Bee began her formal training in hypnotherapy; She
considers hypnotherapy most direct way to connect the mind and body.
Her interest focused on the more innovative applications of
hypnosis. In 1994 she wrote Free Yourself From Diets and added
recorded hypnotic support messages to the weight control program.
Dr. Bee pioneered unique techniques to improve athletic performance,
specializing in golf. She wrote, Mental Management for Great Golf:
How to Control Your Thoughts and Play Out of Your Mind in 1996,
which has become a mental game classic. She has hypnotized members
of both the Ryder and Presidents Cups teams and winners on all
professional tours, including Major Championships.
Mind Power Technology is her cutting-edge mental game training
program for golfers. This 12-volume CD library was published in
2004. Building Champions: A Guide for Parents of Junior Golfers and
the Mental Game and Life Skills for Juniors followed in 2005.
Dr. Bee Epstein-Shepherd's revolutionary program
Youthing: A
Hypnotic Approach to Anti-Aging is the culmination of more than 30
years researching the mind-body connection. Her lifelong interest
began as a teenager when she read the book Mind and Body:
Psychosomatic Medicine by Dr. Flanders Dunbar.
As a result of years of research and experience, it became
evident to Dr. Bee that hypnosis had the power to impact the
physical body at the cellular level. Now she uses the
transformative power of the mind to reprogram the subconscious
to slow and sometimes even reverse aging processes. Her program
Youthing uses and modifies some of the most powerful hypnotic
techniques to be an addition to (or instead of) standard
anti-aging methods such as cosmetics, and surgical procedures.
This is a revolutionary approach that has a permanent positive
impact on health and behavior.
Though she was certified as a Medical Hypnosis Specialists in 2007,
in 2009 she completed additional advanced training in Medical
Hypnosis with Dr. John Butler at the Hypnotherapy Training Institute
with in London.
Her latest program is
Ease Your Cancer Journey.
